Ayu Halim, b. 1995 Jakarta, is a multidisciplinary artist exploring archived histories, materials, and ritual
through sculpture, installation, and performance. Halim is interested in linking intrinsically architectural 
concepts within ancient lore and theologies to the physical, built world. She is inrerested in looking at the
way in which the structures of convention dictate categories of reality.

Halim holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University, 
San Luis Obispo.  She currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
